Answer on Is it possible to bring wine from Italy to Australia?
Yes you can, up to the limit of your duty free allowance which in Australia is "Inbound allowance for adult travellers 18 years or over; Each adult is permitted to enter Australia with 2.25 litres of alcoholic beverages (liquor, wine and champagne)".
I rarely take wine into Australia because their own wine is so good, but I have often taken spirits in with no problem.
The alcohol must either be in your checked bags, remember to wrap some clothes around the bottles and put them into the centre of the case to prevent damage, or purchased after security in Italy. Don't forget that taking liquids in containers which hold more than 100ml through security is not allowed.
