If the Biblos a collection of books and scriptures, why is it Protoevangelium of James not included?

It's probably written about AD 150. It starts with, "I James wrote this in Jerusalem, not in Italy."

Ok the 'not in Italy' is a joke;P Relax.. ;)

Serious here, why the Gospel of James not included in the Biblos? It's about the birth of Jesus. Don't Christians need to know this?

Is it because the story closely resembles whats the Qur'an?

are you talking about something different than the Book of James that is already in there although it is not part of the Gospels.

Interesting to know there is another one though. I have always wondered why the Book of Jasher was never added to Bible, it talks about how Ibrahim was was thrown into the fire also which to my knowlege is not mentioned in the Bible.
