Should I go to Venice?

Should I go to Venice?
I'm a second year university student majoring in Art History. There is a trip that my program organizes each year where you get to go to Venice (Italy) for the month of May and on top of the amazing experience you get a credit.

Here is why I'm very hesitant on going and I need to know if my concerns seem reasonable:

-its CRAZY expensive. It costs the equivalent of a years tuition at my university.
-I'm not going with any friends; what if in a couple years I have the opportunity to go to Europe with friends. Or is it really worth it (b/c of expense) to go and risk not really enjoying myself without friends?
-Most university students get to apply for jobs early May and start them in May. There is a good chance that I won't be able to find a job (or at least a good one).
-I'm moving to a new house on May 1st, I may have exams until May 1st, but I have to be in Venice by May 2nd.
