LOL, Justin Bieber said the US Healthcare system is EVIL, and Canada's healthcare system is better, you agree?

I don't have many reasons to like Justin Bieber, mainly because I think he sold out and also his teeny booper music doesn't really appeal to me, but he hit the nail on the head with US healthcare. This is the richest country in the world, yet hardly anyone can get practical, good healthcare without going broke or going into debt. Justin Bieber stated his security guard had a premature baby in the states, and hes still paying for it, but in Canada since its free, the baby stays in the hospital as long as it takes until it gets better. Gotta love America.

Answer on LOL, Justin Bieber said the US Healthcare system is EVIL, and Canada's healthcare system is better, you agree?

I agree, the thing is, the US already has free health-care - it's called the ER. Anymore in need of medical care can go to the ER and they can not be turned away. Also, the poor get free healthcare through medicaid.

It's the middle and lower middle class who suffer with the system being the way it is. They don't qualify for medicaid because they work, so they get their medical care through the ER. The ironic thing is, this method is more expensive than having a system that took care of everyone's needs because by the time a person goes to the ER, their condition is usually severe...whereas if they'd gotten preventative care, or gone to the doctor when their symptoms first started, the cost would have been much less. Oftentimes, even people with insurance go broke after being diagnosed with a chronic illness. Insurance only pays for so much...and insurance companies also get to pick and choose what treatment they're willing to allow a person to have. Our system is broken and I applaud Obama for trying to fix it.
