How would you feel of this as an American?

How would you feel of this as an American? American mother has a baby daughter with a man from Jordan. The father takes his daughter back to Jordan with out her mothers consent. He says that since the US born little girl is a Jordan national, he has the legal right under Jordan law to raise her in Jordan and prevent her from leaving Jordan before her 18 birthday. The mother has the legal right under US law to raise her in the USA and have the father pay child support. The father says that because I took her to Jordan as a baby and tell her that her birth mother is dead she will have no trouble interrogating in Jordan and gives lets his mother raise her. This would be different if she was six or even 10 years old. His mother and his daughters says that he is a very good father. He says that 80 percent of Americans are unfit mothers/fathers today, but that most mothers in Japan, Sweden, Italy and Jordan are good mothers. He also says that Michel Obama is one of the few Americans that are good mothers. In this case the father and his mother are the better parents. This was diffrent in the 1950's.
