I'm 5' 8" and weigh about 135 lbs. My diet plan consists of NEVER eating anything that says "diet" or "light" in the label (yeah, it actually works!) Also check labels for no aspartame (its in most "sugar free" things and can actually make you gain weight) I also eat fruits and veggies and whole grain cereal for snacks instead of chips and other salty snacks. Oh and get a list of fruits and veggies you should buy organic, so you don't consume a bunch of chemicals that can throw off your diet.
