Am I thin enough? healthy? or overweight?

Hi everyone. I really want to lose 10 lbs. before August because I'm going to Mexico and really want to have a flat stomach to impress the guy i like. I'm 16 years old, 5'2'', and 108 lbs currently. I want to be 100 lbs. and I want to know the best way to do that? Is that a healthy weight? I just started working out for 33 min on my elliptical because i heard cardio was the best way to burn belly fat? Today I had around 1000 calories and burned off 258 of them. Is that good or bad? Again, my DREAM weight would be 100.I would love some tips about exercise AND dieting please! thanks so much!

P.S. - I usually have balanced meals and ONLY drink water when I'm at home -- no soda or anything. I usually have a lollipop a day because I have a huge sugar tooth

you should not lose any weight. your already at a low weight. and you need to eat more then 1000 calories because you are starving yourself. and your body is storing everything you eat as fat. eat at least 1300-1500 calories(healthy food). do some kind of cardio 4 times a week. and start some muscle building(muscles burn fat).

you will look a whole lot better with some muscles(not like a bodybuilder or anything) then you would with bones sticking out.
