Does this bug anyone else? An ex-flatmate ate frosted sugared cereal for breakfast, white bread sandwiches for lunch and ready meals for dinner most days, decided to veg but was worried about getting healthy nutrition. Say WHAT? People just assume if they are eating meat they are eating a balanced diet, when a lot of the time they are eating WAY too much fat, cholesterol and sugar and not enough wholegrains and fruits and veggies.
But suddenly they go veg and they are paranoid about protein, B12, iron etc etc etc, when they never gave jack about these nutrients when they were eating meat and were probably deficient in something. Don't get me wrong I'm happy people want to transition to a healthier diet (and before the meat trolls start I mean they are more concerned with getting nutrients not claiming vegetarianism is healthier) but it just seems to become a concern after they decide to go veg.
What's up with that?
Answer on Why do people only worry about nutrition AFTER they go vegetarian?
I find this weird as well. I think in many cases, it's because these people have been raised on the traditional meat/veg/starch meal, and have never considered the possibilities of nutrition beyond that.
I also find it funny when people who question my diet are overweight. "OMG you can't be healthy"...when I'm in the best shape of my life and they're, well, not. Do these people honestly think they're healthy because of a few pieces of meat?
There are a lot of myths out there about vegetarianism, one of the main ones being that it's unhealthy. It's unfortunate that a lot of people buy into that.

Okay so my little cousin loves Justin Bieber. I want to get her tickets for her late birthday present. The presale is coming up soon and I was just wondering like how you got into the pre-sale. Don't you have to be in some kind of fan club or something? If so, can you give me the link to this fan club? Thanks guys!
Answer on How do you get into the presale for Justin Bieber concert tickets?
Ok, so the presale started at 10 am today. You have to go on ticketmaster.com and then find your city under Justin Bieber's concerts. Then you have the choice of buying fan club membership when you buy the tickets ($45) and you have to buy the membership to get the tickets before they go onsale to the general public.
