Okay, I would like to say that I'm 13, and I realize music sucks today.
I mean, how did we go from the awesome 80s music like Michael Jackson, KISS, Cyndi Lauper, Bruce Springsteen, Journey, etc, to idolizing "singers" like Justin Beiber, Hannah Montana, Selena Gomez, Ke$ha?
Fashion has also changed too. In the 80s it seems like, from what I've seen, people actually were classy but also had style. Now its all about Abercrombie and how many American Eagle things you can have on at once.
Tv shows changed too.. Full House, Cosby Show, Three's Company, etc.. to kids coming home to watch Zack and Cody?
What happened? It seems like after the early 90's, everything went downhill? What's your opinion?
Answer on What has happened to American Culture?
I said this yesterday when I was talking to someone about this. Our expectations are too high. All the great, original ideas have been taken. Every now and then, a good show comes out but nothing compared to the shows you've named. It's a different generation. The values have changed. It's sad. It seems like people only want to be famous. They don't value music or truly know how to act.
